Rami Nijjars’s mindful self-compassion course synthesized what I’d gained from sessions with psychologists and forays into mindfulness over the years. Practicing mindful self-compassion in a group setting truly brought home to me, in a much deeper way than ever before, that I am not alone in my suffering.
Rami is a calm and reassuring presence. She answered all questions thoughtfully and with genuine care. Her knowledge is obviously vast and I loved learned new things from her. I had started a challenging new job shortly before the course started and experienced a shocking personal betrayal in the midst of it. Practicing mindful self-compassion was invaluable to helping me cope during this difficult time. I had also thought I would never want to attend a silent retreat, but our four-hour session was a great introduction to this practice. I highly recommend taking Rami Nijjar’s mindful self-compassion course.
